George Prior

George Prior is a news reporter and features writer for SUR, one of Spain’s most influential media groups. He is also a columnist and travel journalist for UK-based magazine OUT.

His work also appears in The Telegraph, The Sunday Times, The Independent, Time Out, Le Monde, Bild, Monocle, The New Statesman, Mate, jetsetter.com, Winq, iexpats.com, and various in-flight magazines, amongst others.

As a travel writer specialising in Spain, George has written guides on behalf of the Spanish Government, the Junta de Andalucía and Malaga’s provincial government. In addition, he’s the Costa del Sol expert on simonseeks.com, where he offers accurate, opinionated and current reviews and advice on visiting, working and living in southern Spain.

He’s a regular commentator for the BBC, ITN, Sky, Al Jazeera, and CNN on Spain-related current affairs and news.

George is currently ghostwriting an autobiography on behalf of a senior British politician.
